E.A. Whitney, in his will, has left his entire fortune, $750,000, to educate the youth of Sheridan County. A service for Mr. Whitney was held at 2 o’clock this afternoon at Reed’s Undertaking Parlors, where the remains had been lying in state.
Mr. and Mrs. Parsons have moved from Ranchester to New Acme for the winter.
Cocoa is 23 cents a pound at Sheridan’s Basket Store. Also, a pound of peanuts is 15 cents.
Miss Maxine Owen invited several friends to her home in the Rialto block last evening in honor of her friend’s birthday. The party was in the nature of a surprise for Miss Genevieve Sober.
