The Ladies Cheep-Up Club of Carneyville gave a play entitled “The Coonville Aristocratic Club,” followed by a dance. Proceeds are to be used to make Christmas packages for the boys from the different mining camps and those in training at the different training camps.

The Farmers & Consumers Co-op Co. has received a fresh car of grapes.

Four Sheridan boys in the U.S. Navy, serving on board the U.S.S. Cincinnati, have written asking for letters from home. The four are Wilson H. Stevens, W.H. Schmitt, J.L. Seamster and B.E.Tardner.

The Sheridan Commercial Co. is offering Fancy Concord grapes for 30 cents a basket. Also, the winter stock of apples is in.
