Mr. S.B. Gwinn, county commissioner, died about 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon at his ranch near Ranchester shortly after he was seized with an appoplectic stroke. Mr. Gwinn was one of Sheridan’s pioneers, arriving here the year before the railroad reached the town.

Mrs. C.L. Hopkins gave a paper on “Uniform Dress in the Schools” at the Linden P.T.A. Meeting. A simple skirt and a middy were suggested, with sensible shoes and hose.

Scales Motor Co. has radiator and hood covers for Ford, Haynes, Kissel and Overland cars.
