Mr. Hewitt, of Hewitt’s Bootery, has left for Chicago, to be gone three weeks. He plans to attend the National Shoe Dealers’ convention, which opens on Jan. 7 and will continue to Jan. 9.

Mr. Haldock, representative of the Liquid Carbonic Co. of Chicago, is in Sheridan superintending the installation of a new soda fountain at the Brown Drug Co.

Paul Mydland, of the Mydland Dairy, had a narrow escape from death yesterday when his wagon and team plunged into Soldier creek. He was badly bruised and sustained a broken collar bone. The wagon was badly broken up and over 52 gallons of milk and four gallons of cream were lost.
