As a result of the first of the monthly benefits for the Red Cross, the Orpheum theater turned over $40 to the local chapter this morning. The attendance wasn’t as good as it should have been to see the excellent picture and support a worthy cause.

Thrift stamps were placed on sale for the first time today at Linden school. The young scholars bought $75.20 worth.

Miss Emma Stillwell and Mr. Charles Heddin will dine this evening with Mr. and Mrs. John Ladd of West Loucks street.

Mrs. Harry Fulmer, who has been in Sheridan a few days, returned in the company of Mr. Fulmer to the couple’s ranch near Dayton yesterday.
