A Look Back in Time: Jan. 20, 1918

Local retail dealers reported late this afternoon that they have not so much as one pound of coal on the tracks for supplying the needs of the people of Sheridan. However, it is expected that enough coal will reach the city by noon tomorrow to tide things over for a while.

Senator J.B. Kendrick will arrive Wednesday noon instead of today as was originally expected. The reason for the delay is due to the Senator being held up in the recent traffic blockade.

The sixth annual Poultry Show, held by the Northern Wyoming Poultry Association, closed last night. The show was a record breaker in quality and number of birds entered.
