Alex Petrie of Sheridan has been informed that his brother at the front has received a Military Medal for his part in the Cambrai battle, along with the London Scottish Regiment.
J.W. Anderson from Parkman is in Sheridan indefinitely.
Mrs. French of South Brooks street sustained an injury to her hip last week when she slipped on the ice in front of the New York Store. Two pedestrians stopped and assisted her to her feet and into the store, from where she was later taken to her home in a carriage.
Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Lynde of Arvada are spending one or two days in Sheridan. They are registered at the Western.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Harper are visitors this week from Banner.
