An elderly man by the name of Walker was robbed of $200 at the depot about 8 or 9 o’clock last night. The thief hasn’t yet been apprehended.
Pete Pederson, the 20-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Pederson, died at Camp Jackson, S.C., in the base hospital. Death was due to bronchial pneumonia.
