The executive committee of the Loyalty League and County Council of Defense met last night and decided to make April 6 a patriotic event. That date will be the anniversary of the entrance of the United States into the war.
Dr. C.A. Harmon died about 6:30 this morning in the state hospital in Sheridan. He was severely injured several weeks ago when the handcar he was riding was struck by an oncoming train.
Mayor Camplin introduced an ordinance regulating speed limits of automobiles at yesterday’s city council meeting. The ordinance would raise speed limits which have been 8 miles per hour on Main street and 12 miles per hour on side streets.
