Tomorrow has been declared Liberty Loan Day in Sheridan and across the nation. The business houses in Sheridan will close at 1 o’clock and remain closed until 6. A canvass of the city indicates that observance of the day will be generally carried out. The schools will be closed throughout the day.

Lloyd Potter, Sebastian Bernweiser and George Klus were discharged by the Acme Coal Co. because of their refusal to buy Liberty Bonds. Action was taken by the mining company after it was determined the men were financially able to buy the bonds, and their refusal was for other reasons.

W.P. Barker of Ranchester is in Sheridan for two days.
