Police arrested two men around 9 o’clock this morning on charges that the men robbed a grocery store and stole a considerable quantity of goods. The stolen goods were found in the men’s room at a hotel, along with a bloody revolver.
The grade school field meet, which was to have been held last Friday but was postponed because of inclement weather, will be held this Friday afternoon starting at 2:30 in the ball park.
Mrs. T.C. Whitmire, whose husband is serving in the army, left yesterday to accept a position in Senator Kendrick’s office at Washington D.C.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred King of Banner are in Sheridan indefinitely.
