Mrs. J.J. Marshall, who recently underwent an operation at the hospital here, is reported to be rapidly recovering. It’s believed she will be able to leave the institution by the end of the week.
A traveler from out Montana way reports roads to be splendid in certain sections there, but that coming through Ranchester yesterday, he saw two automobiles stuck in the mud almost up to the hubs of the cars.
Sheriff Mossberg left on No. 42 today for the Pacific coast, where he will take two men into custody and bring them back to Sheridan for trial. One of the men is alleged to have passed several bad checks here, and the other is wanted for alleged thefts.
