As a result of problems with the law, the Lariat Cafe, over the Sheridan Post building, has voluntarily closed its doors.

Mayor M.B. Camplin has proclaimed the week of May 13 as Clean-up Week in Sheridan. All rubbish and trash is to be collected and placed in piles in the alleys or on side streets to be hauled away by city teams.

The following have been suggested as candidates for offices of the Sheridan Commercial Club, to be voted upon at the annual meeting on May 9: H.E. Reckard, for president; D.C. Wenzell, first vice president and chairman of the public affairs department; and George W. Perry, treasurer.
