Details of the death, reported recently, of Roy H. Eaton of Sheridan, came to Sheridan today in letters from his commanding officer and chaplain. The letters, sent to Private Eaton’s mother, state that he died on May 18 while saving the lives of two of his comrades in France.
T.W. “Buck” Taylor will attend as a delegate to the State Federation of Labor convening in Sheridan next month. Taylor was elected at a meeting of the Sheridan Trades and Labor Council last night.
Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Bowman were in Sheridan yesterday from Dayton.
Miss Opal Lewis left yesterday afternoon for Ranchester, where she will spend a week visiting Miss Cecile Snow on the Snow ranch.
