At the meeting this morning, Sheridan’s city council awarded the contract to pave Residence Hill to the Warren Construction Company for $73,000. The bid is about $2,000 lower than the estimate of the city engineer.
The beautiful water lilies at Pioneer park are an attraction of themselves just now. They’re on a pond at the east end of the park near the deer enclosure. To be fully appreciated, the blooms should be viewed before sundown, as they observe daylight hours only.
Miss Mabel Knight of Cheyenne has been engaged to teach cooking and sewing in the Sheridan schools during the next term. She is a graduate of the home economics department of the Wyoming State University.
