One of the biggest land deals ever recorded in Sheridan county has just been consummated, with the purchase by M.R. Newinger of the William Goodill ranch. Purchase price is $150,000 for the ranch, which is situated two miles from Banner.
Several Sheridan people plan to go to Cheyenne this week to attend the annual Frontier Days’ celebration there. The Frontier Shows will be held July 14-27.
The increase in passenger rates is blamed for the decline in travel to and from Sheridan. It’s declared that the increased rates are prompting many to enter the automobile market.
