Five women and 10 men left Sheridan in cars this afternoon for the A. Eads ranch on Prairie Dog creek, in the first attempt of the Four O’Clock crews to aid farmers living within a radius of 10 miles of the city with their crops.
Mr. and Mrs. George A. Young, who have been living at 136 Coffeen avenue the past two years, left today for Brighton, Colo., to locate on a farm there.
Trustees of School District No. 7 decided in a meeting recently to open the city schools on Tuesday, Sept. 3. The Sheridan County Teachers’ Institute will be held during the week preceding.
R.G. Diefenderfer is in Thermopolis attending to business affairs.
