Seven precincts of the 39 in Sheridan county were still missing when a total was taken at 4:30 o’clock this afternoon. Missing precincts are Dewey, Big Badger, Upper Powder River, Lower Powder River, Clearmont, Buffalo Creek and Big Red.

The local draft board received a call today to entrain 10 men for limited service between Sept. 3 and Sept. 6. Five will go to Fort Lewis and five to Fort Riley.

Mrs. W. Roush, who resides on East Works street, received a terse telegram from the war department today, announcing that her brother, Albert S. Killian, 19, was killed in action in France on July 15.
