The Sheridan County Teachers’ Institute opened this morning at the Linden avenue school house with 150 county teachers in attendance. The spirit of patriotism was manifest everywhere.

The Sheridan Sugar company is contemplating building a sugar factory at Hardin, Mont., according to word received in Sheridan today from Hardin. The company, through Manager E.F. Ogborn, has purchased more than 1,000 acres of irrigated land, including the famous A.H. Bowman ranch of 800 acres.

Jack Harris, who has been employed as a clerk at the Sheridan Inn, left today on No. 42 for Fort Logan, Colo.
