The Sheridan Gas plant will not be junked on Sept. 1 as originally planned by Sweet, Causey, Foster & Co., the Denver brokers who control the gas company. Instead, a campaign is to be immediately inaugurated to enlarge the plant.
Following an agricultural lecture yesterday afternoon at the Sheridan County teachers’ institute, nearly 100 county teachers were loaded into 18 automobiles to work in the harvest fields on three ranches near Big Horn.
Dr. N.R. Newcomer of Sheridan received a wire from Washington this morning notifying him that he has been given a commission as captain in the medical corps of the army.
