In a letter sent today to the Denver company that controls the Sheridan Gas plant, W.A. Anderson, secretary of the Sheridan Commercial Club, renewed the club’s pledge to cooperate with the gas company to increase the company’s patronage in Sheridan.
R.G. Diefenderfer was elected chairman of the Republican County Central committee this afternoon.
Clyde A. Abbott, who left Sheridan with the July draft contingent for Fort Riley, Kansas, is spending a “farm furlough” at his ranch on Lower Prairie Dog Creek. He is due to return to camp Oct. 1. His wife will teach at Carneyville this year.
