New revelations were made today concerning the 10-year free franchise granted by the city to H. Masterson, “trustee,” for use of Sheridan’s streets for advertising purposes. Only 12 “traffic tombstones” will be installed, instead of 20, and the advertising franchise has dwindled from $76,800 to just over $23,000.

The Chase-Lister Theatrical Company of six men and six women is in Sheridan marking time until the quarantine is lifted.

A rather gruesome find was made on Residence Hill during excavation for the new stretch of paving. Workmen ploughed into an old grave that was in proximity of an old abandoned cemetery.
