The petition for removal of the so-called traffic posts from Sheridan’s downtown streets did not come up at the meeting of the city council this forenoon. No mention was made of the petition filed two weeks ago, to which a good many citizens asked for removal of the obstructions.
Miss Cora L. Williams of New Acme was in Sheridan shopping today.
The unofficial ballots for the approaching election are now in the hands of County Clerk Withrow and will be sent out to the various precincts during the latter part of the week.
Headquarters for the Democratic County Central committee were opened today in Rooms 12 and 13 in the Sheridan National Bank building.
