Two deaths from influenza have been reported in Sheridan and three from districts surrounding Sheridan county during the 24 hours ending at noon today.
An outburst of exuberant joy expressed the community sentiment Sheridan when the news went out this morning that Germany had surrendered unconditionally. However, the report was premature. Secretary Lansing made an official statement that no armistice terms have been signed.
With returns now in from 39 of Sheridan county’s 40 precincts, results of Tuesday’s elections remain unchanged from earlier reports. Returns from Big Badger precinct remain missing.
