Mrs. John Birchby died at 12:30 o’clock this afternoon at the family home on East Works street. Death was caused by pneumonia, following influenza. Mrs. Birchby had been a resident of Sheridan county since 1887.
At a meeting of the Red Cross yesterday afternoon, an outspoken protest was proclaimed against lifting the ban on community activities, and a resolution was passed calling for tightening quarantine restrictions.
