Mrs. Peter Jacobs, who resides on a ranch at Beckton, 10 miles west of Sheridan, is expecting a visit from her brother, Harry Matson.

The tragic story of the ruthlessness of the flu epidemic in Sheridan county is told in the statistics of deaths for 1918. According to the records of County Health Officer Hurd, 75 deaths occurred in October and 69 in November, the months in which the Spanish influenza was especially malignant here. Deaths in October and November in 1917 were 18 and 19 respectively.

Mr. and Mrs. H.U. Williams of Buffalo are registered today at the Western hotel.
