Sheridan county commissioners have determined to take over the fair grounds for a purchase price of $8,000. In other action, Sheridan has made its bid for recognition as a station on the trans-continental aerial mail service whenever it may be instituted in this section.
Dr. Vincent J. Keating successfully performed a caesarian operation at the state hospital in Sheridan last Sunday. The patient was Mrs. Beulah Reed of Ranchester, and the child was a seven-pound baby girl.
Lights have been installed and a stove put up by City Commissioner Loucks at the municipal skating rink, and the tract was flooded again today in preparation for the opening.
