By a vote of 65 to 26, it was determined this afternoon that the new social organization in Sheridan will be a Young Men’s Club instead of a YMCA, at least for the present.
An unusual wedding was performed in Dietz today by Father Schultz, under the rites and ceremony of the Catholic church. Alna Ackerman, age 16, and George Parat, age 26, a miner were united in marriage for the second time. Their first marriage occurred over a year ago, but since it had been performed outside of the Catholic church, it had never been recognized by the relatives of the groom.
Bert Westbrook and Joseph R. Crupe of Clearmont spent today in Sheridan.
