It was open season today for lawsuits here against the railroad company. Four suits were filed, one for injuries suffered when sparks from a defective locomotive set the plaintiff’s clothes on fire and three for losses resulting from delays in shipment of cattle.

Postmaster Canfield will receive bids for carrying the mail between the depot and postoffice at Sheridan until 2 p.m. March 6.

The Taylor school and patrons have announced a food sale to be held March 8 at the Collier Flower and Jewelry store. Proceeds from the sale will go toward purchasing a Liberty Bond on the fifth issue.

J.W. Cooper of Beaver creek is in Sheridan today.
