Sheridan county has oversubscribed its quota on the Victory Loan by about 12 percent. Complete official figures show an oversubscription of $20,000 over the allotted quota of $441,700.
A new screen, one of the finest on the market, is being installed today at the Orpheum theatre in readiness for tomorrow’s show. The screen is set back 12 feet from the front of the stage so that the front seats will be desirable without taxing the eyes.
Two new one-room school buildings will be constructed in Sheridan soon. One will be at the high school grounds, but the location of the other has yet to be decided.
