W.D. Fisher, secretary of the Sheridan Commercial club, has selected what’s known as the Chicken Creek road between Arvada and Gillette to mark.

The first car of Kentucky horses to participate in the horse racing at the fairgrounds has arrived in Sheridan, and 200 additional race horses from Kentucky are now on the way here.

The Sheridan Reds went down to defeat at the hands of Edgemont, S.D., by a score of 13-11 in the first ball game seen in the local yards this season.

Business matters called W.F. Gannon to Sheridan from Parkman this week.
