In spite of a nationwide strike of Western Union Telegraph employees, all six of the Western Union employees of the Sheridan office remained on duty this morning. All dispatches to Sheridan came in on scheduie time.

Mr. and Mrs. G.T. Cook of Clearmont are visiting in Sheridan this week.

Dr. E.G. Denison of the United War Veterans’ organization in Sheridan received a telegram today from the adjutant general stating that Sheridan is assured of the establishment of a cavalry unit here in the re-organization of the Wyoming National Guard.

The alligator in the zoo at Pioneer Park is no longer lonesome. A turtle has joined it.
