According to town rumor last night, attendance throughout the day at the picnic at the experimental farm yesterday reached 4,000, and it was variously reported that more than 700 automobiles had been upon the grounds.

Sherman D. Canfield has received a telegram from Senator Kendrick advising him that his reappointment as head of the Sheridan post office has been authorized by the president.

W.H. Schreiber of Story is in Sheridan today.

Quite a delegation of Sheridan people attended a dance at Ranchester last night. The dance was complimentary to the “Eaton Dudes” prior to their departure for a tour of Yellowstone park.
