Dr. G.H. Buffum and Lieutenant Carl Griffon, owner and pilot of the machine to be used by the Sheridan Enterprise to deliver an airplane extra to Buffalo, attended a meeting of the Commercial club today to outline the advantages that would come to Sheridan by having a landing field that would conform to government requirements.

Sheriff U.A.C. Thomas left today for Rawlins with a prisoner sentenced yesterday to serve six to eight years in the state penitentiary.

R.W. Haynes of Billings and R.B. Baird of Denver are visitors in Sheridan today.

John Powers, treasurer of the Absaraka Oil company, has denied rumors that oil has been struck on the Sheridan Dome on Tongue river.
