Forest fires in Montana and Idaho are causing skies in Sheridan to be clouded with smoke, and patrolling the Big Horn forest for fires locally has been rendered exceedingly difficult during the last few days.
Mrs. Fred Baker and sons Floyd and Virgil motored from Sheridan Saturday to their ranch on Buffalo creek. Mrs. Baker returned to Sheridan yesterday on engine 41.
Mrs. M.C. Lewis of Monarch and little granddaughter, Miss Frances Wade, journeyed to the city park of Sheridan yesterday, where they spent a most enjoyable day. The occasion was Mrs. Lewis’ 60th birthday and her granddaughter’s eighth birthday.
