W.D. Fisher, secretary of the Sheridan Commercial club, has launched a campaign for a new highway, 2,700 miles in length to run from Omaha to Glacier National park. The highway would be called the Custer Battlefield Scenic Highway and would pass through Sundance, Gillette and Sheridan.

Sheridan county had a direct monetary investment in the war of at least $1,000 per capita, according to a statement issued today by C.R. Massey, chairman of the Sheridan County Loyalty League. The Loyalty League has suspended its activities with the conclusion of the Victory Loan campaign.

Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Samuelson and family have moved into the George Brown home on Residence Hill.
