An allegation has been made that, a day or two before the re-election of M. L. Blake, county and prosecuting attorney, a crime was reported to him but, rather than taking action on that, he stuck to his campaign desk.Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Raper of Mapleton, Iowa, have arrived in Sheridan to visit their son, John F. Raper, at his home on Gladstone street. A small willow cutting has been presented to Park Superintendent Roy Marshall for planting in Pioneer Park. The cutting is from a tree at Santa Barbara, California, which itself was reported taken from the willow at the grave of LaFayette in France.
