More than 100 novices were initiated recently at Powell by members of Sheridan’s Kalif Temple shrine, which held its annual Ceremonial in the Basin city. Seventy-one of the novices were from the Sheridan temple and 33 from Billings. Notwithstanding the cool weather, a large crowd attended the weekly municipal band concert in Pioneer Park this afternoon. Mrs. Vernon Griffith was the honored guest at a very lovely auction bridge party given yesterday afternoon by Mrs. Clarence Wulfjen. Members of the primary department of the Christian church were graduated to the beginners’ class today.
