Democrats of Sheridan will open the presidential campaign in this county next Monday night when Wade H. Fowler of Douglas and the Honorable W. B. Ross of Cheyenne speak at the Gem theater. Throngs packed Brundage street today to see the Brooklyn-Cleveland baseball game illustrated on the electric score board in front of The Enterprise. A bigger crowd is expected tomorrow for the second game in the series, which also will start at 11 a.m. Sheridan time. On account of the Conley-Cogull bout to be staged in the armory tonight, the regular monthly meeting of the American Legion will be postponed until Oct. 12.
