Republican voters of Sheridan county are being asked this week to sign pledges that they will vote a “straight Republican ticket.”High school pupils and students above the sixth grade who are studying agriculture under the Smith-Hughes law provisions in Sheridan schools viewed six reels of films sent out by the Department of Agriculture at the Orpheum theater this afternoon.Spear & Faddis of Sheridan took first prize on a load of 3-year-old Shorthorn steers in the recent St. Joseph, Missouri, Stocker and Feeder show. The load was part of a five-car shipment from Sheridan cattle dealers to the show.
