Practically every reservation has been taken for the fall meeting and banquet of the Sheridan Commercial club, which will be Thursday night in the banquet room of the Odd Fellows’ hall. George Scales, manager of the Ford Motor Co. of Sheridan, is confined to his home with a serious throat affliction. Mrs. Sherman Welton was hostess at a very pretty dinner yesterday at her home on East Works street. The dinner was complimentary to her mother, Mrs. E. A. Snyder, who is her house guest. The Joan of Arc Club will meet tonight with Mrs. T. H. Upton on South Main street.
