As of this morning, money contributed to the Salvation Army’s fund for Christmas baskets and donations to the needy is almost to the $200 mark. Forty-five or more Sheridan families will receive Christmas dinners and gifts this year. The committee handling plans for the celebration that will attend the illumination of a tree on East Grinnell street on Christmas Eve has issued a request for additional funds for the event. >Thomas Thain of Buffalo is visiting in Sheridan today. Stock Inspector W. G. Dunning has approved 25 head of cattle belonging to Carl Cresswell of Arvada so the cattle can be shipped to Lodge Grass.
