In an adjourned session of the City Council this morning, Mayor M. B. Camplin and Commissioners Svanberg and Bibb voted to reject the bill submitted by A.C. Evans in the amount of $237.50 for intallation of the ornamental lighting on Main street. C. W. Jorgensen has purchased the jewelry store of P.C. Duncan at 220 North Main street. One group of misses’ coats, values up to $20, are on sale for $4.50 at Reed’s. Postmaster Sherman D. Canfield announced this morning that a position of special delivery-carrier is open in the Sheridan post office and will be filled by appointment immediately.
