A Look Back in Time: May 26, 1916

Miss Margery Gibson Ross, national organizer for the Congressional Union, is in Sheridan to organize a branch in Sheridan. The union has as its purpose national suffrage for women, and Miss Ross addressed the Sheridan Woman’s club this afternoon.

Considering the difficulties they have been forced to undergo as a result of recent inclement weather, the Sheridan ball team is in fair shape. The ball club has a date with the Kansas City Red Sox for a double header game to be played here in Sheridan on June 18.

Women’s suits, dresses and coats are on sale for one-quarter off in Reed’s special Decoration Day sale Saturday and Monday.
