Although the Sheridan Stampede will not start until Monday, every available room at Sheridan’s hotels has been engaged, and indications are that hundreds of people will have to be taken in by private homes.
All horsemen who desire to enter the harness race during the Stampede should file entries at Stampede headquarters at Sheridan’s city hall. Only one harness race will be held, a one-mile free-for-all.
The Star Planing Mill on East Brundage Street is manufacturing the Richards Take Down Rake as well as other mill work, such as screen doors and windows. Odd-size doors are made to order.
