A number of people from Buffalo were in Sheridan yesterday to attend the ball game here between that city’s Bison and the Sheridan Elks. The Bison defeated the Sheridan team by a score of 8 to 2. It was a good game, and a number of pretty plays were made.
The city council this morning granted an extension of time to the Warren Construction company for completion of pavement in Sheridan’s district 3. The company now has until Oct. 1 to finish the work.
Mrs. E.O. Cain and daughter of Buffalo stopped in Sheridan today. They are en route to the exposition in San Francisco.
Harry Burgess went to Gillette today on legal business.
