Between two and three thousand men will participate in the Labor Day parade which will be a feature of the opening day of the Sheridan Stampede next Monday. A special train bringing the men from the mines will arrive in Sheridan at 10:30.

Hewitt’s Bootery is having a fall showing of school shoes. Boys’ shoes with full oak soles, full vamp, double tip and double leather at heel are priced $2.25 to $3.50.

Miss Nell Warriner returned today from a visit at Arvada.

Dr. and Mrs. J.H. Doud are en route to Sheridan today by automobile. The doctor will be stationed here this winter as representative of the state veterinarian in cooperative work with the federal government against dourine, which is a serious disease of horses.
