A country lass is the winner of the fifth watch given away in the Sheridan merchants’ Pony Campaign. Little Miss Marvel Schwab, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Schwab of Beckton, is the second girl to win one of the fine gold watches being given away in the contest.
Visitors in Sheridan recently include Miss Laura Jester and Mrs. A.M. Luce, both of Ranchester. Miss Jester was here yesterday, and Mrs. Luce, who is a teacher, is in town today.
Mrs. Mollie Scott went to Dayton yesterday afternoon to get ready for her work as teacher in the school there.
Sheriff Ole Mossberg went to Billings last night on professional business.
