Clearmont flockmaster V.S. Griffith was on the Omaha market on Monday with 2,000 May lambs. His sheep topped the market for the week at $8.40. Mr. Griffith was in Sheridan today to give the report. He said there were 44,000 head on the market that day, which was the biggest run of the season so far.
Visitors in Sheridan today include Dennis Willey of Tongue River, who is transacting business here.
J.B. Lamson, who is agriculturist for the Burlington, is in Sheridan arranging for the special agricultural train which will be run through here some time during November. Two representatives of the International Harvester Company will be here tomorrow.
