The man who shot and killed 25-year-old Herman Hollis is in custody. He was arrested by Sheridan County Sheriff Mossberg about 8 o’clock this morning at the Gus Johnson ranch. The ranch is on Little Piney Creek about 25 miles from Sheridan.
Sheridan County was judged to have the best general sheaf exhibit at this year’s Wyoming state fair in Douglas. Winners were announced today.
The Gem is showing “Under Southern Skies,” a romantic drama of the South before the war, featuring Mary Fuller, the most popular star in filmdom. Special music will be provided by the Gem’s own big 7-piece Orchestra. Admission is 5 and 10 cents.
